We deliver to Launceston & all surrounding suburbs.

Deliveries are made between 8.30am & 5.30pm on the selected delivery day. We are unable to specify an exact time for delivery, however we do make every effort to deliver as close to your requested time.

For special delivery requests please make a note in the comments box on your order form or alternatively call or email us to discuss.

Most delivery areas are guaranteed for same day delivery providing the order is placed prior to 10am. This does not apply to some remote areas or weekends as not all couriers are available on Saturdays.

Delivery on Sundays or public holidays is generally not available without prior arrangement. Orders received on public holidays will be delivered on the next working day without notice to the customer.

Please note: Cut off times & delivery dates do not apply to busy floral events including (but not limited to) Mother’s Day, Valentines Day & Christmas. Please check our website or social media sites for cut off times around these busy periods.

The delivery fee is payable in addition to the cost of your order and is calculated at checkout.

If the recipient is not likely to be home we recommend sending to a business address. If no one is home the delivery will be left in the safest & most secure place outside or returned to store and redelivery will be at the customers expense. This decision is made at the discretion of our courier. Whilst we make every effort to adhere to our delivery schedules for some areas we use external couriers & cannot accept responsibility for any delays that may occur.

Unattended Deliveries

Due to the large amount of deliveries we are not always able to contact recipients and/or other parties by phone if/when the requested delivery location is unattended to obtain further delivery instructions. We ask that you provide clear & accurate instructions when placing an order.

We keep proof of delivery & do not take responsibility for loss or damage if delivery is left unattended.

Wrong Address

If the delivery address supplied by the customer is incorrect we cannot accept any responsibility  – it is the responsibility of the customer  to supply clear & accurate information when ordering. Redelivery on the same day is not always guaranteed.

In the event that the product needs to be redelivered the customer will be charged an additional delivery fee.

You will be contacted before the arrangement is redelivered & given the option to collect the arrangement from our Launceston store. If The Flower Shoppe is in anyway responsible for the redelivery , this redelivery fee will not apply.

Liquor Information

In Australia it is illegal for alcohol to be purchased by or delivered to any person under the age of 18. I.D will be required upon delivery & in the event that the recipient is not home the delivery will be returned to the store & redelivered at the customers expense. It is the responsibility of the customer to comply with Australian Laws. Any alcohol in our designs is sent as a gift and cannot exceed 2litres.

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled 48 hours prior to the requested delivery date . Orders that are already prepared or in transit cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Cancellations may incur a fee for administration fees, any add on’s or custom printed products.

Money will be refunded less this fee.

If notice of cancellation is received with less than 24 hours notice – Cancellation is void

We do not offer cash refunds under any circumstance & a store credit may be offered.

Products

We do not take responsibility for the messages sent from a sender to recipient – messages are not altered or censored.

Custom Orders

You have the opportunity to customize your order by using the add on feature during the ordering process. If you wish to customize one of the existing designs please get in touch prior to discuss if this is possible – Additional fees may apply.

Flower Care

Nothing brightens your day quite like fresh flowers. They instantly lift your mood, your day & your home. Here are some tips to make sure you get the maximum life out of your blooms.

  • VASE

Select a vase that is the right size for your flowers. Try to keep the vase 40-60% of the height of your bouquet and always make sure your vase is clean to prevent bacteria from forming and affecting the life of your fresh flowers.

  • CLEAN & CUT

Clean the flower stems, remove all leaves from below the water line & cut on a sharp angle to allow the stems to absorb water. Make sure your scissors cut directly through the stem (Crushing the stems affects them absorbing water)

  • Position

Avoid placing your flowers in direct sunlight / heated areas or near a draught as this may wilt your flowers.

  • ENJOY

Arrange & enjoy!

Replenish the water frequently & change water entirely every  2-3 days.

Predesigned box or vase arrangement  – Occasionally mist your flowers with water & refill the water container daily.
